Jim Thorpe Rotary - Rotary Victorian House Tour

Each year, the storybook town of Jim Thorpe celebrates Fall Foliage in October and the holidays in December with the Olde Time Christmas Festival. This year, Fall Foliage will be the first three weekends in October, and Olde Time Christmas, the first three weekends of December. The Rotary Victorian House Tour is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Jim Thorpe. One member is privileged to live at 72 Broadway, a circa 1860 Victorian home on Millionaire's Row, and has offered to open it to the public, first during Fall Foliage and then again during Olde Time Christmas, fully decorated. Entertainment and refreshments are planned.

Come see where Horace D.Y. Lentz, noted early 20th century attorney, lived from 1905 until 1933 and where revered town doctor George Thomas and his wife, Laura raised five children and enjoyed eight grandchildren from 1948 until 1996.

The doors will be open noon to 5 p.m.each Saturday and Sunday, October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 and again December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, and 16 with a modest entrance donation to the Rotary Club of only $5 per adult and $2 for children, 12 and under.
